Chesah Fish Market is a small local business run by a Palauan spearfisherman. We specialize in using sustainable spearfishing practices to bring you the best reef fish directly from the ocean to your table!

The Chesah Box is a box filled with 15 pounds of fresh reef fish. Species of fish will vary by box but can include a random assortment of aku, akule, enenue (teboteb/komud), goatfish (bang), hagi (dukl), kala (um), kole (masech), manini (elas), menpachi (bsukel), palani (mesekuuk), rabbitfish (meyas; not from Hawaii), ta’ape (dodes), to’au (reall), uhu (mellemau/butiliang), and umaumalei (erangel). Because Chesah’s fish are caught sustainably by spearfishing in Hawaii, the species and amount of each fish will vary based on weather and dive conditions.

- Orders can be placed for 1 Chesah Box per order
- Orders are charged by weight. The cost is $11.99 per pound.
- Orders can be placed for a minimum of 15 pounds and a maximum of 30 pounds of fish.
- Each box is filled with 15-30 pounds of a VARIETY of reef fish
- Due to sustainability of the reef and fish populations, requests for specific types of fish are unable be accommodated.
You will be notified before your order is filled. Prior to shipping, the balance (order total plus shipping) for your Chesah Box must be paid in full.
- Payments can be made to Chesah Fish Market via Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and Apple Pay. Cash payments are only accepted for local (Oahu) pickup and delivery orders.
A Chesah Box contains 15-30 pounds of fish, depending on how much you would like to order. Reef fish cost $11.99 per pound.
The minimum weight to order is 15 pounds. The maximum weight is 30 pounds.
Shipping and handling are an additional charge.
Oahu
- FREE local pickup (only on Oahu)
- $20 for delivery (only on Oahu)
Hawaii - Outer Island
- $50-$150 for UPS two day shipping
Mainland/USA
- $150-$250 for UPS two-day shipping to the mainland (48 contiguous states) and Alaska
- Shipping cost is based on weight and the location the box is shipped to
- Chesah has no control over UPS’s shipping costs but we have researched and negotiated to get the most affordable price possible
International
- At this time, Chesah does not offer international shipping

At this time, we are not taking special requests for orders such as only specific fish in boxes (i.e. requests for only umaumalei or only kala in a Chesah Box) in order to help with sustainability and maintaining healthy local fish populations.
Please note that orders are limited to one Chesah Box per customer to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy. To order a Chesah Box that is 15-30 pounds, please contact us.
While Chesah Fish Market is based on Oahu, Hawai’i, we only operate online. Due to high costs, we do not have a physical store location.
